www.bobforrestmusic.com"Bob Forrest spent the 80s and early 90s running around Los Angeles, fronting the band Thelonious Monster. Along the way, Thelonious Monster released 5 albums and an EP. They played shows with the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jane's Addiction & Fishbone, among many others, and played a notorious set at the Pinkpop festival in the Netherlands. The band was known for its chaos, as much as for its excess, having as many as 8 people in the band at any given time. At the turn of the millennium Bob fronted The Bicycle Thief. The Bicycle Thief released one album and a single. They toured the U.S. with the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stone Temple Pilots, Primus & 311. In recent years, Bob has released a solo album, and a series of live EPs. Bob was in and out of Rehab facilities 24 times before finding sobriety in 1996. In years since, he has been on the Board for the Musicians Assistance Program (MAP), and has recently opened his own Hollywood Recovery Services. Bob has been a featured member of the treatment team on VH1's Celebrity Rehab with Dr Drew for 2 seasons and on it's spinoff Sober House. Currently a documentary, Bob And The Monster, focusing on Bob and his life, is in the works."
